Ladies' Handgun Camp

Babes with Bullets, ladies action shooting camps, has been the leader in, "Teaching women how to run a gun since 2004.”  Whether an experienced shooter or a newbie to the firearms scene, the Babes with Bullets Handgun Camp is a great place for women to develop and improve their marksmanship skills. There will be a two day program on August 26th and 27th (Thursday and Friday) held at the Cameo Shooting Complex in Grand Junction, CO.

WE HAVE AMMO!  We reserved 500 rounds per camper that can be purchased for just $0.32 / round (currently trending at $0.90 online) for camp.  You can use our handguns if you don't want to travel with yours, or don't own one yet. Big thanks to Mossberg (manufacturer of the MC2c 9mm handguns) for helping make this happen.

Taught by an all-female team of national and world shooting sports champions, led by Kay Miculek, this two day program is designed to teach women to handle and operate a handgun safely and confidently. Camp fees cover instructors, range fees, lunches at the range, a limited number of complementary loaner guns and other equipment are available.

 

Who Should Attend? The camp is geared toward novice / intermediate students. Our all women training staff is headed by champion shooters Kay Miculek (head instructor), and Lisa Munson (senior instructor). Everyone will see rapid progress in their skills.

 

Discounted Lodging Rate:

Quality Inn in Grand Junction (733 Horizon Drive, Grand Junction, CO) is going to be our host hotel! Managed by a USPSA and IDPA shooting match director, Rick Martindale, this hotel is only about 14 minutes from the Cameo Shooting Complex. For the discounted rate of $79 a night during the weekday and $89 a night on the weekend. Rick has assured us that their full breakfast will be available by 5:30 am each morning.
